General Information from Warrior Forge Planning Conference

Cadet uniform policy during LDAC while in Garrison will be ACUs, Desert Combat Boots, Patrol Cap (PC), Pen/Pencil and TACSOP. Camel Backs or PCs are not allowed in the PX or Commissary. The WF TACSOP will have uniform and equipment layouts in it.

Laundry turn in is mandatory every 5/7 days for all Cadets during Warrior Forge; it is a two day turn around.

Cadets will be in the field for a total of 16 days this year!

If a Cadet fails the first APFT, the retest is on day 26 after returning from the field!

Cadets will depart the barracks on Day 5 and will not return until Day 11 or 13. The intent is to allow Cadets to receive showers every 4 to 5 days depending on which training site they are co-located at. This will require Cadets be trained on how to maintain good field hygiene.

Professor of Military Sciences (PMS) will be required to sign off on a 3 page checklist that states the Cadet has all necessary equipment for LDAC. All Cadets must report with these forms complete. This will be an emotional event for Cadets if they are missing equipment.

Military elbow or Mag-Lights are authorized for use at LDAC.

The main focus at LDAC will remain to be toward Troop Leading Procedures, Operation Orders Process and After Action Reviews. There will be no Basic Rifle Marksmanship (BRM), Combat Water Survival Test (CWST) or Hand Grenades at LDAC this year.

Cadets are only authorized to wear boots that are within AR 670-1 standards; this includes winter boots. Blisters continue to be a big issue so ensure that Cadet’s are conducting Foot Marches.
